Situated in a unique archipelago landscape of Värmdövik, the waterfront villa is designed to create a dialogue between the built form and its natural context. The renovation focuses on framing the site's unique vistas. The exterior is cladded with vertical wooden panels which allows the volume to blend seamlessly with the surrounding landscape.

The spatial sequence in the interior is defined by a deliberate duality across its two levels. On the entrance level, a light, monochromatic wooden envelope wraps the kitchen, living, and children’s quarters. In contrast, the lower level offers a grounded and intimate ambiance characterized by muted greyish tones.

Massive, frame-capturing windows act as lenses throughout the home. The fluidity culminates in the lower lounge, which extends onto the pool terrace, blending the indoor experience with the water and beyond.
